My Plan for Longshot Magazine 2011
Longshot Magazine is this awesome print magazine that is made in 48 hours. Submissions open Friday July 29 for 24 hours and I plan to submit.
If you want to know more about this project, read my post on my writing blog, which includes submission tips. If you’re in Atlanta, you might want to join me in submitting writing, photos, illustrations and whatever else fits into a magazine.
They are also planning to have a Longshot Radio and will need sound clips (and more) from people wherever they live.
3 Things I Want from my Longshot Submission
- Be a story. A feature, journalism style story.
- Challenge something.
- Be creative and specific.
I’m excited because I love writing under themes and deadlines.
